This is a diagram of how the K-9 Scent Detection Machine is set up. There is a detachable screen (s) that hides the dog from the people going through the machine. That way no one is scared or distracted by the dog. The dog and the handler are stationed at the scent box. If someone comes through that has the odor of drugs on them, then the dog will alert by scratching at the scent box.
